Job Description
The Opportunity As a Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will support the movement of materials into and out of the facility by preparing finished goods for shipment, unloading raw materials, and maintaining accurate and organized inventory flow. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient logistics, safe material handling, and compliance with all workplace policies including SQF and safety standards. How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock
- Prepare finished goods for shipping, including staging, labeling, and verifying documentation.
- Load outbound trailers and unload incoming raw materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, roll\u2011clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material\u2011handling equipment.
- Stock, organize, and rotate finished goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when handling inventory, paperwork, and shipments.
- Follow all safety and compliance guidelines, including SQF and required PPE.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. Qualifications
- Ability to operate material\u2011handling equipment in a warehouse environment (training provided).
- Basic math skills and the ability to complete required documentation accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Required Personal Protective Equipment
