Job Description

Job Summary Hurtt Fabricating has an exciting new career opportunity and is accepting applications and resumes for shipping/receiving position. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, attention to details, manage time efficiently and enjoys working outside in a hands-on environment.
The shipping/receiving associate:
Examine incoming and outgoing shipments and verify PO's, affix appropriate shipping labels, stamps or stencils on a variety of containers. Load and unload trucks in a timely safe manner with forklift Operate forklift to move, transport shipments from trucks to the shipping and receiving storage or work area. Can continuously stand up to 10 hours and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. You must wear protective equipment such as safety shoes, ear protection and eye protection. Perform any necessary duties needed to ensure shipments are properly loaded for transport to the customer Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Good basic math skills are essential. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written. Strong attention to detail is essential. Forklift Certified or the ability to be certified. Must be able to work well with a team Ability to read, write and follow instructions Ability to work independently with little supervision Work outside in all types of weather Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
