Responsibilities:
Ensure that goods are shipped and received in a timely and efficient manner according to the ERP System and documented processes, including planning transportation routes and costs. Prepare and plan items for stock or future shipments through ERP system transactions, including posting delivery notes. Organize and maintain shipment documentation in the ERP System by taking photos of items shipped. This includes scanning shipment documentation, attaching photo files to the corresponding sales orders, and uploading them to designated folders. Address issues related to government regulations or items being held for inspection by US Customs and Border Protection. Prepare small domestic/international shipments using transportation company websites and various carrier software systems, (scheduling express pick-ups when needed) including completion of all necessary paperwork for customs documentation. Ship crates and pallets using LTL or TL carriers, complete detailed BOL forms and prepare shipments for safe and secure transport. Maintain accurate inventory by following procedures during goods receipt / issue when moving items in or out of stock. Follow all required certification guidelines and procedures during shipping and receiving activities. Participate in inventory audits to support inventory accuracy. Perform various tasks within the ERP system and related tools to support shipping and receiving processes. Support the company's strategy and values. Qualifications 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment High school diploma or GED Detail oriented; Ability to multi-task Ability to work well with others as well as independently Previous experience working in an ERP System Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project) Flexible with work hours Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
