Full Job Description Shipping/Receiving Clerk Job Type:
5 Plus Years of Experience Monday - Friday 8am-5pm- Resume must show verifiable experience
- About the Company Manufacturing Company is a leading domestic manufacturer and distributor of convertible tops, vinyl tops and accessories for specialty trim shops and distributors around the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing customer orders and materials
- Receive incoming packages, supplies, freight and materials
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against orders, packing slips, invoices or other documentation
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues as needed
- Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory information accurately in the computer system
- Prepare and maintain shipping records, labels, bills of lading and other required paperwork
- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and internal departments to support timely deliveries and shipments
- Move, organize, stock, and stage materials in the warehouse as needed
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping, receiving, and warehouse area
Position Requirements:
- Must have good work record
- Basic or intermediate computer skills
- Ability to accurately enter information and maintain records
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with carriers, vendors, drivers, and coworkers in a professional manner
- Dependable
- Must be fluent in English
- Self-Motivated/Can do attitude
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must follow company safety procedures
- Must pass E-Verify
- Certified to operate a forklift or willing to become certified
