What is a Shipping & Receiving Associate?

A Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for handling the movement of materials in and out of the facility, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and shipment of goods. This role supports warehouse operations and maintains inventory accuracy.

What You Can Expect to Do as a
Shipping & Receiving Associate:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to requirements Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials Assist with inventory counts and accuracy initiatives Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding shipment statusWhat We Are Looking For in a
Shipping & Receiving Associate:
High school diploma or equivalent required1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving roles preferred Ability to operate forklifts or material handling equipment (certification preferred)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materialsStrong communication and teamwork skillsBasic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems preferredWhy Join IP Corporation?
