Job description :

• All shipping administrative duties such as preparing documents for shipping, maintaining shipping records, documenting all actions in manufacturing systems, processing bills of lading,
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and ensure that all interfaces with the company are treated to a high level of customer service.
• Actively assists in continuous improvement activities and offers positive suggestions for improvements and innovations.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures, and instructions.
• Perform all duties according to the established safety policy.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Materials Manager.
• Willing to work flexible hours as necessary
• Experience with international shipping requirements.
• Knowledgeable of computer applications
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external vendors and/or customers.
• Ability to deal with deadlines and stressful situations professionally.' Qualifications
• Must be able to see/read a computer and work via telephone. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of arms and legs, moving body, such as lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials as necessary.
• Must pass Company pre-employment testing.
