Full Job Description Hiring Now, Immediate Start About Us:

ZedPrints is a fast-growing 3D printed lamp company based in Raleigh. We are hiring now for a part-time hybrid role that combines running our 3D print farm with packing and shipping customer orders. It is hands-on, fast-paced work in a small shop where you will see a product go from raw filament to a box on a truck. No 3D printing experience is required and full paid training is provided.

The Most Important Part of This Job:

This role runs on written instructions. Every print job, every packing slip, and every shipment comes with a specific set of steps, and those steps need to be followed exactly as written, every single time. We are not looking for someone to improvise or find shortcuts. We are looking for someone who reads the whole instruction before starting, follows it in order, checks their work against it when they finish, and asks a question rather than guessing when something is unclear. If a process changes, you will be told, and we will expect the new process followed just as closely. If that sounds tedious to you, this is not the right role. If you take pride in getting it right the same way every time, you will do well here.

What You Will Do, Printing:

Run and monitor a bank of FDM 3D printers. Start new print jobs from the daily queue, remove finished parts from the plate, load and swap filament, and keep machines clean and calibrated according to our maintenance schedule. Watch for common issues such as clogs, bed adhesion problems, and failed prints, and catch them early. Handle light post-processing including removing supports, trimming, and inspecting parts against our quality checklist before they move to packing.

What You Will Do, Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, and ship daily customer orders accurately and on time, following the packing specification for each product. Print and apply shipping labels, assemble boxes, and keep packing materials stocked. Track inventory of finished parts and raw filament, and flag low stock before it becomes a problem. Keep the fulfillment area organized and shipments moving out on schedule.

What We Are Looking For:

Reliable, organized, and comfortable working with your hands. You should be able to stand and move around for your full shift and lift up to 40 lbs. You follow checklists carefully, stay focused during repetitive tasks, and have real attention to detail, because a mislabeled box or a cracked part should not get past you. Consistency and a willingness to learn matter more to us than experience.
