Shipping & Receiving:
Where efficiency meets accuracy.
JOB SUMMARY
Shippers and receivers send, accept and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from an establishment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate a forklift, receiving, delivering, shipping and moving inventory while following required procedures for each function.
Neatly and accurately scan and pack auto parts into totes, boxes or cages.
Pull or ship products to either warehouse or store. From 745 hub or 742 store.
Maintain records, and complete documents for shipping and receiving.
Responsible for reporting all unsafe conditions, damage to product, equipment, and facility.
Accurately complete all paperwork required by the position. Ensure store tasks are completed in a timely manner on assigned shift.
Maintains a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Follows company policies and loss prevention procedures.
Process and verify orders are pulled, staged, and accurate.
Ensures transfers from stores during route deliveries are placed in totes or cages appropriately and in a timely manner. Maintains quality control accuracy and fill rate Goal of 99.0%.Maintains facility at end of day to start clean and ready for next morning duties.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, GED or equivalent requiredForklift Certification within 90 days of job entry dateProficiency with computer requiredSatisfactory Motor Vehicle Record requiredPersonal qualities of flexibility, integrity, and confidentiality. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors regularly in all elements.
