Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of goods into and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. Your expertise will support seamless warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment. Duties Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products according to shipping requirements Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload goods Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and inventory management software Ensure proper stock placement within the warehouse for efficient order picking and stocking Process shipping documentation in compliance with trade regulations and international trade regulations when applicable Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory management to ensure stock accuracy Collaborate with logistics providers to coordinate timely deliveries and pickups Perform data entry related to shipping & receiving transactions using ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms Support order fulfillment activities by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety protocols Assist with packaging products securely for transport to prevent damage during transit Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to shipments or deliveries Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics is highly preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying quantities accurately Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous; certification preferred Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records Knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and e-commerce fulfillment processes Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively This role is an integral part of our supply chain operations.
