The Receiving Clerk performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving materials, interfaces with Production Supervisors and Purchasing to resolve purchase order problems, reports to Logistics Supervisor and is in Newark, CA.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Perform receiving physical tasks:

Load and unload and sign for incoming deliveries Put away material and maintain inventory locator and traceability systems Move material with the use of carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklift Maintain order within the receiving area with the proper disposition of goods and paperwork On occasion, drive the company vehicle to pick up or deliver parts 2.

Perform receiving administrative tasks:

Process inbound receipts to stockroom or designated storage locations using the Oracle database Accept deliveries and note damage and discrepancies Verify part number and quantities against the packing slip Examine and verify labeling on boxes Verify completeness against shipping documents and purchase orders Consistently apply all standard operating procedures, as well as ESD and manufacturing requirements for parts quality 3.

Provide team support:

Demonstrate work methods to new hires Share best practices, assist in minor troubleshooting Actively participate in cross-training Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or GED 2. Minimum one year of related experience and/or training

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $26.00/ Hour
