Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining seamless warehouse distribution. This role is vital in supporting efficient logistics workflows, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with warehouse management systems and shipping logistics. Duties Prepare and process outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately using picking & packing procedures. Utilize RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts to load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Manage shipping documentation in compliance with trade regulations and international trade requirements. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stocking, inventory management, and order picking. Record shipment data into inventory management software and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for real-time tracking. Verify order accuracy through data entry and inventory checks; resolve discrepancies promptly. Assist with inbound shipments by receiving goods, inspecting for damage or shortages, and updating stock levels. Support order fulfillment processes by ensuring timely processing of customer orders through order picker systems. Maintain detailed records of shipping & receiving activities to support audits and compliance. Collaborate with customer service teams to address shipment inquiries and provide tracking information. Ensure packaging meets quality standards while optimizing space utilization for cost-effective transportation. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles; prior warehouse experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and ERP platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for reporting and documentation. Knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and inventory counts. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and external vendors effectively.
