Low Description:

A warehouse position that deals with high volume and high complexity shipping in a manufacturing environment. Requires reading, math, and communication skills equivalent to a high school education along with two to three years of related experience, or equivalent. Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

Ship goods from the establishment and prepare records of shipped items Responsible for making up bills of lading. Post weight and keep files of shipping records Receive incoming shipments of merchandise or other materials. Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, etc., Keeps record of goods received. Report damaged goods and shortages. Route goods to the proper departments. Workers may use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices. Work will include material handling. Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Attention to detail and good organizational skills Able to work independently Basic computer skills required High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position or role Salary commensurate with skills and experience

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to dust or other irritants and electrical/mechanical/power equipment/heat hazards. Preferred:

Experience using overhead and jib cranes Experience with lift machinery such as forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift Experience using ERP management system
