This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and processing incoming shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify documentation upon receipt. Unload materials and packages from delivery trucks using appropriate material-handling equipment. Inspect incoming shipments for quality, damage, and accuracy. Verify materials and quantities against purchase orders and shipping documentation. Coordinate with Purchasing and Buyers regarding returns, discrepancies, and damaged goods. Post daily receipts in the inventory management system and forward documentation to Accounting. Label and accurately store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations. Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners and maintain inventory accuracy through proper material put-away and replenishment. Maintain accurate records supporting Accounting, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and warehouse operations. Keep warehouse aisles, docks, and work areas organized, clean, and free of obstructions. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and ISO regulations. Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to a positive team environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous warehouse receiving experience required. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred. Ability to operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and walk-behinds. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. Experience working with large quantities, part numbers, and multiple units of measure. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, reach, and inspect products. Ability to bend, twist, and perform physical warehouse activities as needed. Ability to use close vision for inspections, verification, and data entry.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
