Your responsibilities

• Documentation management: accurately check, reconcile, and process all inbound shipping documents, including the bill of lading (bol), packing slips, and delivery receipts
• Inventory verification: physically verify the quantity and condition of incoming freight against purchase orders and manifests, noting and reporting discrepancies or damages immediately
• System entry: accurately input receiving data into the warehouse management system (wms) or inventory tracking software to ensure real-time stock updates
• Staging and labeling: proper labels and direct incoming materials to the correct staging or inspection areas for putaway

Communication:

communicate effectively with carriers, purchasing, and warehouse management regarding delivery schedules and non-conforming shipments.
