Job Functions:

• Unload incoming trucks and verify shipping documents
• Consult with Quality Control to determine if materials are acceptable to receive
• Operate a forklift or hand truck to move, hoist and put away inventory
• Ability to read and understand customer Pick List
• Pull items for orders per Pick List
• Record all batch codes from products to the retained Pick List
• Determine the appropriate shipping carton
• Reference "Z Notes" binder for customers specific shipping requirements
• Prepare and wrap pallets for shipping
• Load truck for shipping
• UPS Worldship
• Check that all weighing scales are current on verifications
• Weigh all pallets and record weights
• Assist others in departments and Manufacturing as needed
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Comply with all safety rules

Job Requirements:

• Forklift experience

REQUIRED

• Working knowledge of computers
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Competencies and Authorities:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• On the job training

Physical Demands:

• This is a very active position where standing, walking, bending, kneeling and climbing occurs on a daily basis.

This position will require frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 lbs.

Pay:

$18.00
