This is not a full time position This is a flex position, when shifts become available to unload product from shipment containers. shift - 8a-5pm ( single shifts, not a full time position) We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Truck Unloader to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and accurately unloading trucks, managing inventory, and ensuring that products are stored properly within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to warehouse operations. Duties Safely unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation Use RF scanners to accurately track and update inventory records in real-time Organize and store products efficiently within designated warehouse areas Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the unloading area to ensure safety and efficiency Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing items for dispatch or storage Operate warehouse equipment responsibly, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Collaborate with team members across departments, including retail store staff, to facilitate product stocking and merchandising Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed and report any operational issues promptly Skills Experience operating RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse material handling equipment Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse operations Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management Multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse team members Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, packaging, and retail sales processes Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Prior experience in warehouse or retail environments is highly desirable This position is an integral part of our logistics operations.
