This position is currently based in Nassau County and is expected to relocate to Farmingdale, NY by the end of 2026. Applicants must be able to commute within Nassau County initially and to Farmingdale following the relocation.

JOB SUMMARY

Highland Staffing and Recruiting Group is seeking four reliable and detail oriented Shipping Associates for a rapidly growing healthcare organization. The Shipping Associate will accurately pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders while maintaining efficiency and organization. This position also supports packaging, inventory, fulfillment, and other daily operational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare, label, process, and ship packages. Use internal systems and technology to track and process shipments. Verify that orders and shipping labels are complete and accurate. Assist with inventory counts and stock organization. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support packaging, shipping, fulfillment, and other operational functions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable, punctual, and team oriented. Comfortable working in a fast paced and physically active environment. Ability to lift and move packages and other objects as required. Flexibility to assist with different operational functions throughout the shift. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal systems.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in shipping, warehousing, packaging, or fulfillment. Familiarity with packaging and shipping procedures. Experience working in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated environment is helpful but not required.
