In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of shipments, ensuring that all outgoing and incoming goods are handled efficiently. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping logistics will help maintain seamless distribution processes. Responsibilities Prepare and process shipping documentation using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software to ensure accuracy. Pick, pack, and label orders with attention to detail, utilizing order picker tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed for efficient handling. Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and inventory management systems to support stock control and order fulfillment. Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to ensure timely shipment scheduling and delivery compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Conduct quality checks on shipments for accuracy, packaging integrity, and proper documentation before dispatching orders. Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues promptly and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment measurements. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely. Experience with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms like MRPs (Material Requirements Planning). Excellent data entry skills combined with a customer service mindset to support internal teams and external partners effectively.
