This position will coordinate domestic and international shipments, work closely with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal Materials personnel, and ensure finished goods are accurately tracked and delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate Ground, Express, LTL, and International shipments. Receive products and materials from vendors and verify incoming shipments. Stage finished products for shipment and coordinate delivery schedules. Determine appropriate shipping methods and coordinate shipments to and from subcontractors. Store, retrieve, and maintain accurate records of manufactured and purchased finished goods inventory in coordination with Materials personnel. Ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and in the most cost-effective manner to support customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate shipping records for cost verification, vendor negotiations, and trend analysis. Coordinate inventory transactions with Materials personnel and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies. Perform cycle counts of finished goods inventory and assist with Materials-related inventory counts as needed. Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, vendors, subcontractors, and transportation providers. Follow all company standards of operation, policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Demonstrate and uphold the company's Core Values in all daily activities. Qualifications Previous international shipping experience required. General shipping and logistics experience. Experience with supply management, procurement, and vendor negotiations. Experience using an ERP system, particularly in inventory, purchasing, and shipping functions. Vantage ERP experience preferred. Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation. Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Woodworking experience preferred, including the ability to measure, dimension, and build shipping crates. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
