Duties to include… Ensure that both incoming and outgoing product are handled accurately using proper training, systems and programs. Ensure that performance standards are being maintained. Work as an active team member to complete team goals. Responsible for accountability and adherence to system standards and policies Handle equipment for truck deliveries and shipping logistics. Develop sizing information to ensure proper utilization of warehouse space. Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location; package items and label correctly Maintain strict compliance with company health and safety programs including sanitation, risk management and asset management programs.
Chain of Command:
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Hours:
Generally, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 until 5:00.
Personal Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Base knowledge of MS Office. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Deadline and Detail-Oriented Self-motivated Multitasker Capability to operate electric forklift Physical capability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs
