Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse.
What you will do:
Unload small-parcel deliveries, scanning each with a hand-held computer, and sort them based on the department they should be delivered to. Perform order picking duties to fulfill customer requests accurately. Pack and label outbound shipments in an accurate, timely manner. Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies before processing. Put away completed work in-house so it can be efficiently picked later when it needs to be shipped. Assist with moving inventory or supplies between areas of the workshop. Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the shipping, receiving, and storage areas. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Assist in stock management by updating inventory records and conducting regular stock counts. Confirm received packages match orders we expect to receive, and log details about them into a computer. Often includes taking pictures of the packages using a smartphone (provided by us). Other help as needed, of a general-labor variety. Skills Experience with computerized inventory tracking systems is preferred. Proficient with basic material handling equipment including pallet jacks and dolleys. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
Pay:
