Dayton, OH, 45403 About the Position We are looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler. This position is responsible for keeping incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and equipment organized and moving efficiently through the shop. Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies Prepare and process receivers and shipping paperwork Package and prepare parts for shipment Build wooden crates and shipping containers as needed Load and unload trucks safely Operate a forklift to move materials and finished parts Verify quantities, paperwork, and shipping information Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and efficient Maintain organization of materials throughout the facility Assist with material handling and other shop needs Work closely with purchasing, production, and office personnel Perform other duties as needed to support the operation Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to accurately complete receiving and shipping documentation Forklift experience required or willingness to become certified Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials Experience building crates or shipping containers is a plus Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Able to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to do whatever is needed outside of the normal scope of the position What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, keeps things organized, shows up consistently, and understands that in a manufacturing environment, everyone needs to be willing to pitch in and get the job done.
