Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator oversees the daily flow of inbound and outbound goods within the distribution center. This role ensures accurate receiving, efficient shipping, proper documentation, and smooth coordination between warehouse teams, carriers, and internal departments. The coordinator plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, on time delivery, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Pay:
$23.00 per hour Qualifications Experience with WMS systems. Knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel, and international shipping processes. Familiarity with dock scheduling systems and yard management. Understanding of Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement practices. Skills & Competencies Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations within a distribution center. Strong knowledge of freight documentation, shipping methods, and carrier requirements. Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and RF scanning equipment. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication abilities for coordinating with carriers and internal teams. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Key Responsibilities Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation. Verify incoming shipments by checking purchase orders, packing lists, and product quantities. Inspect received goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report findings promptly. Ensure proper staging, loading, and unloading of materials in compliance with safety and quality standards. Update WMS/ERP systems with receiving data, shipment confirmations, and inventory adjustments. Communicate with inventory control, warehouse operations, and customer service to resolve issues. Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas, ensuring compliance with 5S and safety guidelines.
