Job Description

Typical Duties Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices and material test reports (MTR's) while checking for quality defects and documenting material information Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values." Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics." Unload and organize inventory in the designated storage area Maintain accurate records of received goods and report discrepancies to procurement Process returns and replacements for defective or incorrect items/material Assist in inventory control and stock management Ensure all receiving documents are completed and filed correctly for quality control Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize safety hazards Perform other duties as required or assigned Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience `5+ years Shipping/ Receiving experience 1+ years experience and knowledge of Matrix parts is preferred OR equivalent experience in Steel Fabrication Understands and enforces all Matrix / OSHA safety polices Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Thorough understanding of how to utilize various blueprint drawings Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scheduling information, MTR's and Job Work Orders Basic computer skills; working knowledge of scheduling/tracking material movement utilizing various software packages Legible Printing / Handwriting skills; ability to read tape measure Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (if operating company vehicles) Forklift experience is a plus Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination and ability to maintain balance. Must be able to climb ladders. Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping. Use of hand tools such as hammers, knives or wrenches. Visual ability to include color vision and depth perception. Work may include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools. Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards Perform all duties while wearing protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety-toed boots, hard hat, and gloves Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8 hours per day. Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures. May require working a rotational schedule, including evening or nights shifts. Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within company designated drug consortium.
