Catoosa About the Role Greenbrier Learning Academy is hiring Support Staff for our childcare program, and we are looking for dependable, caring individuals to join our team as a support staff and help with different needs such as cooking, driving, general cleaning and upkeep of the center. We're seeking team members who enjoy working around children, follow safety and licensing standards, and contribute to a positive, family-focused environment. Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Support Staff Responsibilities Provide daily operational support to keep the center running smoothly. Assist leadership and teaching staff as needed (non-classroom duties). Uphold all OKDHS health, safety, and program standards. Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication with the team.
Cook / Food
Service Responsibilities (If hired for the Cook position) Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks following menus and licensing guidelines. Follow all Oklahoma Child Care Services food service requirements (OAC 340:110-3-299). Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment. Monitor food inventory and report supply needs. Complete state-approved food service training within 3 months of hire. Prefer candidates with Child Nutrition Program experience (CACFP) and have prior day care experience Driver Responsibilities (If hired for the Driver position) Safely transport children using the Greenbrier Learning Academy vehicle. Follow all transportation and safety requirements per OKDHS (OAC 340:110-3-305). Ensure proper child passenger restraint procedures at all times. Complete Child Passenger Safety Training within 3 months of hire. Complete vehicle safety training if operating a vehicle with 10+ passenger capacity. Communicate effectively with staff during transitions, pick-ups, and drop-offs. QualificationsGeneral Support Staff Must meet OKDHS general personnel requirements. Reliable, responsible, and able to follow safety expectations. Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Driver Must be at least 21 years old . Valid driver's license (or CDL, depending on vehicle). Safe driving record. Willing to complete required trainings within 3 months of hire. Work Environment Supportive, child-centered environment. Fast-paced, hands-on role with meaningful interaction supporting children and staff. Must consistently uphold safety, cleanliness, and positive communication.
