Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Sr. Shipping Clerk / Shipping Lead to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and receiving operations, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to oversee daily outbound logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily shipping operations and provide guidance to junior clerks and team members Coordinate and monitor all outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness Verify and prepare documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels Schedule carriers and manage freight logistics to meet customer delivery requirements Maintain shipping records and assist with inventory control Collaborate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams Enforce safety and quality standards within the shipping area Train new team members and support workflow efficiency

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Senior Shipping Clerk or in a Shipping Lead role Strong understanding of shipping/receiving procedures, freight coordination, and documentation Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills Familiarity with shipping software and warehouse management systems (WMS) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred:

Experience with international shipping Forklift certification is a plus #PDOKC
