Wildwood Chocolate is an award winning artisan chocolate and confections manufacturer that makes and sells high-quality handmade chocolate bars and confections, using high quality and locally sourced ingredients where possible. We sell our products both wholesale and online to customers throughout the U.S. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for timely and efficient order fulfillment including picking, preparing, and packing products for pick up, local delivery and shipment. This position will be primarily responsible for filling Shopify and Amazon orders, but may also assist with wholesale order fulfillment, and product packaging, as needed. The Shipping Clerk must be able to work fast and carefully to accurately fill orders and prepare shipments. The Shipping Clerk must follow protocols, and perform quality work within deadlines and without direct supervision. Occasionally, the Shipping Clerk will also assist the production team by prepping ingredients, packaging products and cleaning.

Duties:

Comply with order fulfillment standards, procedures and deadlinesUse computer systems to schedule print orders for fulfillmentAccurately assemble orders to be filledPerform visual inspections to ensure product quality Package products for shipmentPrepare shipping labels using Shipstation, FedEx and USPS softwareSchedule pick-ups Email pick-up customers notifications when orders are ready for pick upEmail or text tracking and shipping information as requestedCommunicate with customers in a professional, courteous manner when and as neededMaintain workspace in a clean, safe, organized, and efficient manner Excellent attendance and punctuality requiredWork independently and communicate and coordinate work efforts with other employeesPerform other tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

Must be hard working and self-motivatedMust be able to work fast with accuracyMust have excellent organizational and time management skillsMust be able to pay strong attention to detail and accuracyMust be able to meet the requirements of the job with minimal supervisionMust have reading, math and problem-solving skillsAbility to use a computer and emailAbility to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Familiarity with Shopify, ShipStation, FedEx and USPS Software SystemsWarehouse/stockroom experienceCustomer service experienceKitchen or food production experienceHighschool diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation/Benefits:

$16.80 per hour All Wildwood employees accrue PTO at the rate of one (1) hour of PTO for every 30 hoursworked, up to 40 hours per Year starting on your first day of work.
