Shipping Associate - Daylight ShiftPosition Summary The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, inspecting, and shipping finished products accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are shipped on time and meet the company's quality standards. Qualifications Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Reliable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Willing to learn new skills and assume additional responsibilities as needed. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Forklift experience is a plus (training available if required). Essential Responsibilities Verify customer orders for accuracy before shipment. Package finished products to prevent damage during transportation. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Operate shipping equipment and material handling equipment safely. Prepare shipping documentation and labels. Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records. Inspect products for quality prior to shipment. Keep the shipping department clean, organized, and safe. Communicate with production and customer service regarding order status or shipping issues. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist in other departments as business needs require. Work Schedule Full-Time Monday - Friday 1st Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Overtime as required to meet production and shipping schedules.
