George L. Wilson & Co., the tri-state's number one source for high quality construction equipment and supplies is currently looking for a Counter Inside Sales Representative. We have been serving the construction industry in Western PA and West Virginia since 1969.

OVERVIEW

This candidate will be trained in-house and work with other Construction Sales Associates. The ideal candidate is someone that has Construction knowledge; wants a permanent full-time; 40 hour a week position with the desire to grow with a company. They will work to meet customers' needs and answer questions in a timely fashion. They should always have the best interest of the customer and George L. Wilson & Co, Inc. in mind. This position is located in our Apollo office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Previous sales or Construction knowledge Greet customers at counter

•helping them understand what they need to complete their job Materials Sales experience Help with inventory, ordering, counting, stocking shelves Prepare quotes and follow up on submitted quotes Ship and receive UPS packages Troubleshoot questions from customers Computer experience a requirement Stay current on existing and emerging product Maintain a professional/working image in self and work environment

COMPETENCIES

Blueprint understanding Construction Management a plus Quality control experience

•ordering the right amount so there is not a lot of inventory left over Maintain a friendly, "willing to help" attitude Good time management Organizational skills a must

REPORTS TO

Branch Manager HOURS:

Monday

•Friday position 7:30 am

•4:00 pm with no weekend hours.

DEGREE:
