53/Hourly We are hiring an Advanced Senior Stock/Receiving Associate to support receiving, stockroom, inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment operations in a defense environment. This role performs physical and administrative activities involving the receipt, inspection, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory, MRP, receiving, and Government Customer Property Control records. The Stock/Receiving Associate will process receipts and material issues, maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, research material shortages, support classified material handling, and operate forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles as required.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, store, distribute, and fulfill orders for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Process receiving, material issue, and inventory transactions accurately using applicable paperwork and enterprise systems. Maintain accurate stockroom, inventory, receiving, and system data to support material availability and traceability. Organize and maintain stockroom and material storage areas to support efficient warehouse operations. Research material shortages and inventory discrepancies and support problem-solving and corrective actions. Apply established material receiving, inventory control, and material handling procedures. Support Government Customer Property Control requirements for accountable materials and equipment. Handle and process classified material in accordance with applicable requirements. Operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles as required. Support continuous improvement activities related to receiving, inventory, material flow, and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship required by law or government contract Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of related experience . Ability to handle heavy items and operate a forklift or other powered industrial vehicles. Computer skills with knowledge of enterprise software tools used for MRP, receiving, inventory, and associated material data . Knowledge of material receiving, material control, stockroom operations, and inventory management methodologies. Knowledge of Government Customer Property Control requirements.
