Advanced Electronics Quality Inspector - IPC / J-STD / Defense Manufacturing at Moseley Technical Services, Inc. in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania Posted in about 10 hours ago. $28.98 - $33.11 per hour Advanced Electronics Quality Inspector IPC | J-STD | Defense Manufacturing Canonsburg, PA $28.98 - $33.11/Hourly We are hiring an Advanced Electronics Quality Inspector to support component-level electronics inspection and quality assurance in a defense manufacturing environment. This role performs detailed inspections of parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment using J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, X-Ray inspection, ESD controls, GD&T, engineering drawings, schematics, and quality documentation to verify compliance with technical and workmanship requirements. The inspector will evaluate defects in real time, maintain product traceability, prepare quality assurance documentation, verify corrective actions and rework, and ensure products meet established quality, safety, and manufacturing specifications.

Responsibilities:

Inspect electronic parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment for compliance with engineering, quality, workmanship, and manufacturing requirements. Conduct detailed in-process and final inspections to verify products meet applicable specifications and quality standards. Identify and evaluate manufacturing defects in real time and support root cause and corrective action activities. Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions, repairs, and rework to prevent defect recurrence. Review engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to verify parts and assemblies meet design specifications. Maintain accurate quality assurance records, inspection reports, and supporting documentation for compliance, audit readiness, and traceability. Verify parts and materials are properly identified, labeled, documented, and traceable throughout the production process. Apply applicable workmanship standards, ESD controls, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and statistical/process control techniques during inspection activities.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship required by law or government contract Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of directly related quality inspection experience. Working knowledge of ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), statistics, and process control techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications. Understanding of fundamental electrical and/or mechanical systems and component principles required to perform inspections and testing. J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, and X-Ray qualification certifications may be required. Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
