ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Pulls product for shipment/locates product for storage Can effectively pull product at a rate of 10 lines per hour. Correctly interprets and follows customer specific requirements for pulling and packaging product. Has a high efficiency operating high reach forklifts. Has prior experience in warehousing. Has a working knowledge of racking/storage rules/regulations. Prepares product for shipment Has a working knowledge of wrapping machines and banding procedures Can accurately check, label, and wrap product. Unloads/loads product on various types of trailers. Has prior experience on a shipping dock Has prior experience with LTL and TL rules/regulations. Has high efficiency operating sit-down forklifts. Maintains records and submits paperwork Pays attention to details. Practices good penmanship. Acts as "Back-Up" Traffic Coordinator on a as needed basis. Accurately performs weekly cycle counts/maintains the accuracy of inventory. Aware of Kalas' environmental policy and what it means to them. Aware of their significant environmental aspects and knows how to mitigate or eliminate the environmental impacts associated with them. Additional overtime may be required. Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook. Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules. Performs other duties as assigned.
