Summary Knouse Foods Co-op, Inc. is a grower-owned agricultural cooperative and leading manufacturer of high-quality fruit and food products. We are committed to operational excellence, food safety, regulatory compliance, ethical business practices, and the long-term success of our growers, customers, employees, and communities. The Raw Fruit Scales Clerk receives incoming shipments of apples, peaches, cherries, and other fruit we process at the facility. They track, log, and inspect the incoming fruit to make sure that our grower-owners get paid and we can make quality products for America to enjoy!

Ensures information correctness by performing checks on apple batches and apple tickets for mistakes. Verifies local freight bills and storage to be paid. 2. Keeps records and backups by filing apple tickets and freight bills. Records and enters names on inspections, outgoing apples to storage, and container tickets. 3. Provides information by scanning finished tickets and inspections for out-of-state loads, solving problems of weights and receiving problems from all plants, answering telephone calls, and creating grower ID tags. 4. Tracks fruit numbers by completing controls for received fruit and processing inventory on a daily basis. 5. Stocks required office forms and papers by ordering needed supplies. 6. Weighs and receives raw fruit and supplies (such as sugar, vinegar, juice, etc.), and waste, by physically weighing raw fruit and outside trucks or containers. 7. Conducts and/or assists with various mailings to growers or organizations. 8. Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Contributes to the company effort by continually looking for ways to improve productivity and customer orientation within department by use of better technology, procedures, and use of resources. 9. Maintains professional and technical knowledge/skills by using the performance appraisal system to access personal strengths and development needs to accomplish the strategic goals of the organization.Job Type:
