Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Clerk, where your energetic approach and attention to detail will drive the smooth flow of goods from our warehouse to customers worldwide. In this vital role, you will coordinate shipping and receiving operations, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and uphold trade compliance standards. Your proactive mindset will help us meet delivery deadlines, optimize warehouse distribution processes, and maintain exceptional service levels across all shipping logistics activities. Duties Prepare and process outbound shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 and MRPs to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely to load and unload goods efficiently. Pick, pack, and organize items for shipment with precision, ensuring proper packaging that meets quality standards. Manage shipping & receiving tasks by verifying shipment details, completing necessary trade compliance documentation, and adhering to international trade regulations when applicable. Maintain inventory accuracy through stock management activities like stocking, order picking, and cycle counts. Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize storage solutions and streamline order fulfillment processes. Ensure all shipments comply with safety protocols and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Experience Prior warehouse experience with a focus on shipping logistics or distribution is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms, and MRP software is advantageous. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order processing. Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or working within a fast-paced warehouse environment is desirable. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in picking & packing orders.
