Job Description

Schedule:
1st shift 7am to 3:30pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk for a temp-to-hire position in a temperature-controlled warehouse. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of receiving experience within a production or manufacturing facility and strong inventory-control and data-entry skills. This position is responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming merchandise, verifying invoices, bills of lading and purchase orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, reporting discrepancies to management and stocking more than 4,000 active part numbers in their correct locations. The Receiving Clerk will also help control and maintain the flow of parts throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring and controlling all merchandise arriving at the company's warehouse. This will include verifying shipping documents, such as invoices, BOL, and purchase orders. Precise record keeping is critical. All incoming products must be counted and verified against supplier shippers and inventory lists. Discrepancies must be flagged to plant management same day. Accurately placing all inventory on the proper shelf and shelf location. The Company has over 4,000 active part numbers and flawless stocking must be maintained. Applicant must complete all these tasks quickly to meet the company's production needs daily. You must be able to lift to 60 pounds repeatedly and climb ladders. Fork truck certification is required.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years' experience in receiving from a production facility. Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel is also important. Communication both oral and written and basic math skills are required. You should be prepared to stand for long periods, move around often, and lift items repeatedly. You will be required to pass a background check, and drug screening. Must be ok working Independently or in a Teamwork environment. #LSM125

$16.00 per hour
