Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist who will be responsible for receiving products, managing inventory, pulling orders, palletizing, and loading trucks for shipping. The role involves occasional forklift usage (10% of the day at most), handling Bills of Lading (BOL), and utilizing UPS Worldship. The position also includes participation in quarterly inventory counts. Responsibilities Receive and put away inventory efficiently. Pull orders and prepare them for shipment. Palletize and load trucks for shipping. Use forklift occasionally for material handling. Manage Bills of Lading and UPS Worldship. Participate in quarterly inventory counts. Ensure accurate labeling of products to meet customer requirements. Utilize computer systems to weigh, label, and ship products. Track shipments and orders using Excel and other software. Essential Skills Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic math proficiency (decimals, fractions). Forklift operation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the automotive parts industry. Six months of experience with Sit Down forklift operation.
