Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient movement of goods through our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless logistics flows and support our commitment to quality service. Duties Receive incoming shipments by inspecting packages for damage and verifying quantities against purchase orders using inventory management software and RF scanners. Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications and shipping logistics standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks efficiently. Maintain precise inventory records through data entry into ERP systems like AS400 or similar warehouse management systems. Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy across warehouse distribution channels. Support warehouse operations by organizing stock in designated areas, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with familiarity using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software. Hands-on experience with shipping logistics including order picking & packing, load & unload procedures, and international trade regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred. Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations. Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external carriers. Prior experience working within e-commerce or trade compliance environments is a plus.
