Description The Mailroom & Shipping Clerk is responsible for supporting daily mailroom, shipping, receiving, and administrative operations. This role ensures accurate processing, delivery, and tracking of mail and packages, while maintaining a high level of organization, confidentiality, and customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Receive, open, sort, weigh, stamp, and prepare mail and packages for shipment Distribute mail and packages to the correct departments or individuals Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and tracking information Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate with couriers such as FedEx and UPS Process returns and handle shipping/receiving activities Operate postage meters, scanners, and mail processing equipment Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed Provide a variety of administrative and staff support services Perform other duties as assigned Qualification High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in a mailroom environment Customer service experience preferred Skills and Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Reliable, prompt, and committed to excellent attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
