The Receiver manages the intake, inspection, and processing of incoming materials in a precision manufacturing environment for the semiconductor equipment industry. The role verifies shipments against purchase orders, inspects for damage, documents receipts, and routes items to the correct location to keep production on schedule. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dock and warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and unload shipments from trucks, freight carriers, and parcel services Verify items against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading for correct part numbers, quantities, and condition Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to purchasing and quality Enter receipts into the ERP/inventory system accurately and promptly Label, tag, and stage materials for stockroom, kitting, or direct-to-production delivery Route parts requiring inspection to quality control before release to inventory Maintain accurate receiving logs, records, and documentation for traceability Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials (certification provided if needed) Assist with outbound shipping, including packing, labeling, and preparing shipping documents Keep the receiving dock and staging areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Communicate with purchasing, production, and quality teams regarding shipment status and material availability Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe material handling practices

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Experience using an ERP or inventory management system (Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) a plus Basic computer skills, including email and data entry Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and part numbers accurately Forklift experience a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
