Job Description
Overview We are looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our machine shop team. No machine shop experience is required. This is an entry-level position and a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn about manufacturing and grow within a machine shop environment. Responsibilities Assist with shipping and receiving Package and prepare finished parts for shipment Receive and organize incoming materials and supplies Deburr and clean machined parts Clean and maintain work areas Keep the shop organized and help with general housekeeping Move material, parts, and tooling throughout the shop Assist machinists and other shop personnel as needed Perform basic inventory and material handling Follow shop safety procedures and instructions Learn additional shop and manufacturing responsibilities over time Qualifications No previous machine shop experience required Dependable and able to show up to work on time Willing to learn and take direction Able to work with your hands and stay productive throughout the day Good attention to detail Able to lift and move materials and parts as needed Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment Basic computer skills are a plus Shipping or receiving experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone with a good work ethic who is willing to learn. You do not need to know how to run CNC machines or have previous manufacturing experience. We can teach the right person. This position can be a starting point for someone interested in learning more about machining, manufacturing, inspection, shipping/receiving, and other areas of the business.
Pay:
$14.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
