We are starting to build a new culture that is not commonly seen in shops today. We are striving to be a completly paperless, tech driven, lean shop. We are not looking for the best set of skills in the area, rather we are looking to hire good attitude and work ethic. Since starting in the garage in 2021, we have grown to 5 employees in 8000 sqft. We are seeing fast and stable growth in the semi conductor, firearms, and automotive sectors. After becoming ITAR registered and aquiring our FFL07 in 2023, our next goal is to become ISO and AS9100 certified to pursue aerospace work. This will require us to continue to invest in the latest and greatest multiaxis hardware and software and continue to train our team and continually improve our culture. Zimmer Design and Manufacturing will be a place where your opinions and ideas are heard and pursued. Our company is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, a natural talent for strategy, and appreciates the unique challenges of working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Check in materials, tooling, and parts using ProShop ERP. Package parts safely and securely. Make packing slips using ProShop ERP. Make and Print shipping labels. Clock into work orders and complete jobs on time using ProShop ERP. Drive forklift to unload/load trucks. Ultrasonic clean parts using non hazardous chemicals. Deburr parts by hand or by using a parts tumbler and sand blaster. Inventory control using ProShop ERP. Safely laser etch parts and tools using a Fiber Laser. Use horizontal band saw to cut steel and aluminum to length. Clean machines and top off coolant. Learn how to operate CNC equipment Work 30-40 hours/week If hired, you will have your own shipping and receiving work station with the latest software and hardware at your finger tips. This is a 8000 SQFT climate controlled ship that is cleaned regularly and using clean, filtered coolant.
