Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The Rack Roller at
GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF DALLAS INC
plays a vital role in supporting our mission to enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the organization and efficiency of our retail operations, ensuring that donated items are processed and displayed effectively to maximize sales and support our charitable initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage the movement and organization of clothing racks within the store to ensure optimal placement and accessibility for customers. Collaborate with team members to sort, categorize, and display donated items according to established guidelines and standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all areas are free of clutter and safety hazards. Assist in the inventory management process by accurately tracking and recording the movement of items within the store. Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with locating items and answering questions about merchandise. Support the store's overall operational goals by participating in team meetings and contributing to strategic discussions aimed at improving efficiency and sales. Uphold the values and mission of

Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Experience:
Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred. Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. Proficiency in basic computer operations and data entry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
