Rotating Schedule 6AM-6PM (1st
Week:
3 Work Days. 2nd
Week:
4 Work Days)
Description:
Managing incoming goods by unloading, inspecting, and documenting deliveries to ensure accuracy against purchase orders. They verify item quality, report damages, and label and store stock, often using ERP software. This role requires physical labor, such as operating forklifts or lifting, and ensures inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection:
Unload trucks using forklifts, inspect shipments for damage, and verify contents match purchase orders or packing slips.
Documentation & Reporting:
Log received items into company systems, generate reports for damaged/missing goods, and maintain accurate records.
Inventory Management:
Label, track, and transfer incoming stock to appropriate warehouse locations.
Coordination:
Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery discrepancies.
Safety & Logistics:
Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) and maintain a clean, organized, safe work area. Key Requirements
FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency (for inventory systems), and good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is typical, often with previous warehouse or logistics experience.
