Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring all items meet quality standards and shipping regulations. Your proactive approach will help streamline our distribution process, support inventory accuracy, and guarantee timely delivery to our customers. Responsibilities Carefully pack and prepare products using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and ship orders Load and unload shipments efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols Verify order accuracy through data entry and inventory management software, ensuring correct quantities and labels Maintain organized workstations, stock shelves, and assist with inventory counts to support accurate stock levels Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to coordinate shipping logistics and ensure compliance with trade regulations Document shipping details, update shipment logs, and communicate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or order fulfillment is preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with warehouse management systems (such as ERP or AS400) and inventory management software Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred) Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for processing orders and shipment documentation Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance is a plus Excellent customer service skills to coordinate with internal teams and external carriers effectively Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items safely, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Join us in a role that keeps the wheels turning in our supply chain!
