Job Summary:
The Office Clerk provides essential administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role is responsible for managing routine clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, mail distribution, and maintaining office supplies. The Office Clerk assists employees and management with administrative needs, supports recordkeeping and compliance requirements, and helps maintain a professional, organized work environment. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask are key to success in this position. Essential Responsibilities Order Processing & Administrative Tasks Receive and process incoming orders via phone, email, fax, or electronic systems Verify accuracy of financial and transactional data Prepare documentation for contracts, transactions, and regulatory compliance Calculate costs of goods, services, and shipping Maintain inventory and account records File and manage documents, records, and customer information Provide notifications to customers regarding order status, delays, or issues Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Control Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage Record shipping information and maintain inventory logs Package, label, and prepare items for shipment Store, organize, and rotate inventory Order materials, supplies, or equipment as needed Coordinate shipping activities with carriers and external partners Analyze shipping information to determine routing decisions Customer Service Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, and order status Resolve routine customer complaints or escalate as needed Process customer payments, deposits, or fees Refer customers to appropriate personnel when necessary Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred 1 year of warehouse experience preferred Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment Basic computer and record‑keeping skills for order entry, documentation, and inventory tracking Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and carriers Strong attention to detail and accuracy 1 year of Forklift experience preferred Environment Non-Climate Control.
