Day Shift 7:30AM - 4:00PM (Monday-Friday) Position Description The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing inbound shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures incoming materials are received correctly in the ERP system, stored appropriately, and made available to downstream teams while maintaining inventory accuracy, compliance standards, and a clean, organized work area. Key Responsibilities Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and condition against packing slips and purchase orders. Accurately process receipts and perform data entry in the ERP system (Odoo). Identify, document, and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages. Label, stage, and store received materials in designated warehouse locations. Coordinate with Inventory, Purchasing, and Finance teams to resolve receiving issues. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, organization, and documentation. Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts. Ensure compliance standards are met when handling regulated products. Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA standards and injury reporting guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area. Proactively identify process gaps and recommend improvements. Perform other related warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior receiving or warehouse experience preferred. Basic computer skills with experience operating an ERP system. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues efficiently. Basic math skills. Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and adherence to scheduled breaks. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to perform tasks requiring a full range of motion. Work Environment Warehouse setting. Fast-paced and deadline-driven. Team-oriented work culture.
