The Shipping Associate is primarily responsible for accurate and timely fulfillment of requests for finished goods. This includes preparing wholesale and fundraiser orders for transit and increased direct-to-consumer orders into Q4. This is a seasonal position with full-time hours. Key Responsibilities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Understand and adhere to food and occupational safety standards (FDA; OSHA) Ensure that orders are dispatched in a timely manner in accordance with the delivery schedule, including collaboration with Sales and Customer Service for on-time departures Correctly pull and prepare finished goods for shipment, including reading shipping documents, pulling orders, packing, casing, and cross-checking other orders for accuracy Understand and perform functions via UPS WorldShip, including weighing, data entry, and the printing and correct application of shipping labels Safely operate a pallet jack Ability to assist in loading and unloading Perform designated sanitary operating procedures Notifying the Department Supervisor and/or Management of any issues that cannot be properly addressed May perform tasks for other departments, as needed Working Conditions Standing 100% of the time Ability to lift up to 25lbs. for short and long distances and 50 lbs. with assistance No jewelry allowed when entering production areas Minimum Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred Forklift experience is preferred
