Job Description

Support Center is looking for Receiving Clerks and Specialist. Monday Through Friday8am-4:30pm The Receiving Specialist ensures accurate and efficient handling of incoming shipments. This role involves inspecting deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments Verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies Accurately record received items in inventory systems Label, tag, and store products in appropriate locations Communicate with vendors regarding shortages or damaged goods Maintain organized receiving and storage areas Assist with inventory counts and audits Follow safety procedures and company policies Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and purchasing teams Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree a plus) Previous experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics preferred Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift heavy items (often 25-50 lbs) Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Time management and problem-solving abilities Work Environment Warehouse or distribution center setting May involve standing, lifting, bending, and operating equipment Exposure to varying temperatures depending on facility
