Worker Sub Type Regular Work Shift First Shift (United States of America) Pay Range $17.26 - $20.71 Job Description The Receiving/Stores Clerk is responsible to receive and inspect all deliveries of supplies and equipment and verifies the condition and the amounts of delivered supplies against the packing slip. Responsible for maintaining inventory control and a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities and Duties Accepts delivery of all supplies and equipment. Verifies condition and amounts of delivered supplies against packing slip. Completes all necessary receiving reports. Accurately keys in the daily receipts prior to the end of the day. Identifies any discrepancies to the appropriate customer service representative. Ensures all overnight, priority packages received are delivered the same day. Stages all shipments of supplies and equipment in the designated location. Completes all necessary packing lists and ensures they are delivered with supplies and equipment. Ensures proper packing and loading of all shipments. Assists in coordinating the delivery of any urgent requests and carries out necessary follow-up to ensure delivery as requested. Delivers all supplies and equipment in a timely manner. Rotates incoming inventory in accordance with FIFO practice. Works continually on a project in the storeroom or inventory locations. Decreases receiving errors. Ensures inventory location and storerooms are neat, organized, clean, and accurate. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience Previous receiving/picking experience preferred Certification & Licensure Valid driver's licensure is required. Qualifications Able to meet deadlines. Basic computer keyboard knowledge. Task-oriented, investigative, and meets people well. Must demonstrate ability to communicate and to prioritize work demands. Attentive to details, ability to work quickly and accurately. Must exercise decision-making ability and maintain professional demeanor with customers and co-workers.
