We are a manufacturing company looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing and shipping finished products and materials, maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records, and ensuring materials are handled and stored properly. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. This position also requires the ability to build wooden shipping crates and prepare products for shipment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies Verify quantities and materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure products are properly packaged and secured Build wooden crates and shipping containers for finished products and equipment Safely load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles Move and organize materials throughout the facility Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documents Coordinate pickups and deliveries with freight carriers Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records Inspect materials for visible damage and report discrepancies Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements Assist other departments with material handling and general warehouse duties as needed Qualifications Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Ability to read and understand packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents Basic computer skills Good organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials Ability to use basic hand and power tools for crate building Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Forklift experience/certification Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to regularly lift and move materials Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment Ability to use hand and power tools safely Ability to climb, bend, stoop, reach, and work around shipping materials and equipment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who shows up, works hard, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in doing the job right. Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
